Marc Soucy is a musician from Lowell Massachusetts. He started his musical journey when he was only a toddler, taking professional piano lessons. However, as a true musician at heart, Mark wanted to explore the world of music in depth and with his own individuality. He pursued multiple music forte. He started making his own music as a form of self-expression in his teens and was even a part of a rock band in his mid-twenties. He learned electronic music and finally found his calling as a music producer and composer. He used his vast knowledge of different music styles to make his own music mixing various elements of other genres. ‘The Tong’ is one such example of his musical genius and unique sense of music.

‘The Tong’ is the sixth single from Marc Soucy’s series of experimental music called ‘STIR’. Never in my wildest of thoughts did I think I would hear something like this, it takes orchestral music and combines it with electronic music and creates something that will move you from within. ‘The Tong’ grabs your attention right from the beginning and immerses you in an intense experience, evoking some sort of dark feeling within you. This feeling reminded me of the work of The Dust Brothers for the movie Fight Club. I am a sucker for musical experiences like this and am thankful that Marc went ahead and made this. I recommend this song to every music lover; it is an experience of a lifetime.
