Ozzient is a multi-instrumentalist and multi-genre music producer hailing from the city of Chicago, Illinois. His vision with music is bringing the essence of one’s real life into it and also helping other people attain and materialize their musical vision. He has had a knack for music since childhood and he quickly learned to play various instruments like piano, drums Güira, and Tambora. Being raised in a musically inclined Guatemalan family shaped his influences and sparked a passion for music inside him. Ozzient has created several banging hip-hop singles with various rappers from around the world. Recently, his musical chemistry with an artist called ‘LandoIsLiving’ has surfaced. They have together created some exceptional tracks including- ‘Talk About’ and ‘She Wanna’. Both are electronic fused new wave hip-hop tracks.

‘Chill Thrills’ is Ozzient’s latest EP where he showcases his ability to create more laidback and atmospheric tracks, contrary to his regular music language. The EP was recorded in his personal studio. The underlying theme and feel of the EP is nostalgic and relaxing. With calming melodies and meditative progressions, the EP will leave a subtle yet lasting impact on you.

The EP starts with the track ‘Nostalgic Feelingz’. It is a slow groove, lo-fi track with some electronic leads that set a dreamy vibe at the start of the project. The EP transitions from one track to the other with a smooth flow of energy. The smooth transition becomes evident by the way the energy shifts from the first track to the second track. The track ‘Soothing Vibez’ has a deep, sliding bass line that creates a very unique sound when combined with spacey and slow leads. You should close your eyes, put on your headphones, and let the EP do its magic on you.

The last one is a surprise track and has a very unexpected section in it. You should experience the music yourself. The track is called ‘Chill Thrills’ and is the perfect track to end the EP with. The EP is full of innovative use of instruments and beats. Each song brings a new feel but still fits in the collage.
