Giantheo is an Italian music duo which was created when Giancarlo Prandelli met Matteo Sainaghi and decided to embark on a musical endeavor. The two artists have together won numerous international competitions and have created chart topping hits. Their song, called Tortuga is used in Pina’s program on RADIODJ. The duo has already announced an album which will be released in September. Giantheo’s music style is pretty fluid and they keep switching their sound from song to song. Their music holds potential to rule over the hearts of listeners worldwide.

Hey Tu starts off with just the keys that play in a melancholic melody. As we progress through the song, the beats come in and the singer hits some long and higher notes. The gradual buildup of the song kept me hooked till the song lasted. I am an English speaker and thus, couldn’t catch up with the lyrics. However, even though I couldn’t understand the lyrics, I really enjoyed myself listening to the song as music is something that does not have boundaries of language and transcends the message in the most pure way. The seamless and smooth vocal range of the singer really impressed me. The synths used in the song have a very modern and shiny sound. When combined with the singer’s commanding vocals, create an unmatchable music experience.
