Muse Chronicle

JRTA is a one man electronic musician who plays the guitar, bass and keyboard. He creates his music from his 11th floor home studio and has realized his deep love for music. Music is something that keeps him sane and has kept him going for years now. During the first half of his life, he wanted to become a rockstar and later found his calling to become an electronic artist. He has been working professionally in the music industry for years and has been an avid performer in the Midwest. His main musical influences have been- Morphine, Doors, Q-Tip, Portishead, and Mouse on Mars.

Down Shiftin is the title track of the EP titled the same. The song is mid-paced and features some wobbly vocals. The lyrics express the feeling of being tiered of putting in the effort to keep going when life tells you that it is all over. The song ultimately encourages the dreamers to strive for more. The song proves to be highly impactful as the theme is drawn form the artist’s real life experience and the listeners can easily relate to it. The whole EP is worth a listen as you will find some absolute bangers in the project.
