Marc Soucy is an artist with an elaborate musical history. He had started taking piano lessons against his parents intent at a very young age and continued for 11 years. He took training in classical music but soon developed an interest in making his own compositions. This made him explore various musical genres. He has led his own progressive rock band in his mid 20s and was the composer of that band. Further gathering musical experiences and knowledge, Marc was filling up his bag with all the skills he could. He got into electro and even learnt Jazz piano for a couple of years.

“PTSD is a uniquely crafted musical piece that transcends the listeners to a new world of wonder and boundlessness.”
PTSD (which is the abbreviation of Paris-Tokyo Suborbital Departures) is an electronic dream pop track with elements from genres like Jazz and Techno. The deep bass sounds and shiny synths give a very atmospheric feel while the Jazz Trumpets add character and energy to the song. The melodies are immaculate and successfully create a very dreamy atmosphere. Towards the end of the song, the artist showcases his vision with an absence of a proper structure and sounds that conventionally do not fit in the track. However, the outro adds a certain feel to the song of mystery and imperfection.
