Dell Johnston Surge Fabularum: A sculpture of melodies that have soul
Dell Johnston - Surge Fabularum

Dell Johnston is an artist who likes to keep it real with his music. Originality and essentially translating from real life human emotions are the two striking facts about Dell’s music. He is a one man army musician (composer, singer, song-writer, and producer) who makes songs that can connect with the audience on a deeper level which stems from Dell’s ability to draw inspiration from the chart toppers. He has been writing and recording himself from 15 years and the maturity shows in his music. With musicians like John Williams, Hanz Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Graeme Revell and Michael Giacchino as the artist’s main influences, he is doing justice to what he stands for.

“Surge Fabularm is one of the grandest tunes there can be. Each note speaks passion, majesty and substance.”

The track Surge Fabularum is the 9th songs from Dell’s 2024 Album- Redemption. The underlying theme of the album is the tension and struggle between good and evil. According to how I consumed and deciphered the song (Surge Fabularum), it gave me a sensation of victory and triumph while still addressing the negative aftermath of a war. The song is a cinematic masterpiece which can easily fit in for a film’s background score. The flow of energy throughout the song is done so perfectly.
