Proklaim has been in my playlist from quite some time now. His mindset is something that attracts me to his music. The ambition, passion and hunger for more is truly inspiring for me. Young souls, who are finding out their path in life, do need such a source of inspiration and encouragement. An extremely creative artist with an eye for evolving hip-hop music, Proklaim’s music can be described as real and fresh. He has appeared on MTV Base in his Kingz video. His music is mostly intense and carries a progressive message. What will stick with me about this artist is his cadence and his raw accent. It puts you on a trance and once you start listening to Proklaim, there’s no going back. He motivates his listeners and throws reality on their face to put them on their toes.

Proklaim’s soul session is a track that goes heavy on the rhythms. The percussions and the sick drum patters used made me bop my head. The whole song is a re-visit to pure old school hip hop with the touch of modernized version of the same artform. Proklaim is flexing his rhyming and spitting abilities in this one. The superb verses hit so hard. The short sampled monologues add a story to the song. Just like all his songs, the delivery on this one is extremely powerful as well.
