NIGHTIES is the creative product of multi-instrumentalist Justin Acee, a Los Angeles-based artist dedicated to crafting music that resonates with the echo of nostalgic shoegaze classics. He is a member of the band Made Violent with whom he has toured extensively around the globe performing at festivals and venues alongside artists like Wolf Alice, The Struts, and HUNNY. But the band disbanded due to internal struggles and this threw Justin into his battle with addiction. Post recovery he started his music journey back in 2020. Three and a half years later came NIGHTIES whose music is a refreshing evocative take on the shoegaze genre.

NIGHTIES’ recent release, “Tired (Invisible)” is written, mixed, mastered and performed entirely by Justice Acee himself. The song was a faint melody in Justin’s mind while he was battling with active addiction. Years later, with a clear mind Justin has crafted it into a melancholic embrace encompassing depths of exhaustion and angst. The track with its magical vocals and word painting-like lyrics, teethers between reality and reverie.
