Eddie Cohn’s recent single, “Wave Goodbye” beautifully traces the reminisce of self after walking away from something dear

Los Angeles-based musician, Eddie Cohn is a singer-songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist whose musical journey is deeply rooted in the grunge era. He draws inspiration from icons like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains and the timeless music of Tom Petty and Beck. Although Eddie has been on a break from the stage for a few years, yet his music has featured on platforms like iTunes. His work has also been highlighted on the Onstage Music Podcast based in Toronto, Canada reflecting his evolving artistry and continued relevance in the music world.

“Eddie Cohn’s latest release, “Wave Goodbye” is the personification of creative stimulation itself.”

“Wave Goodbye” is a recent release by Eddie Cohn in collaboration with Brett Farkas on guitar and bass, and Kevin Penner who handled the mixing and mastering of the song. The track is a tribute to his love for MTV Unplugged; how it provided a platform for bands to strip down their songs and reinterpret them in fresh, new ways. The song is about saying goodbye to people and habits that no longer serve us positively. Eddie’s vocals are an absolute treat to the ears: the freshness, the restraint, the flow everything is on point. The guitar does not overpower the vocals, rather tastefully compliments them. I would say that the song has been created with utmost precision and it shows!

If you like songs that challenge you creatively, you must definitely listen to this one!
