A group of football-lovers, Tartan Army ’24, has made an exciting new anthem, “We Are The Tartan Army,” to support Scotland in the Euros. Inspired by the house and techno music of the 90s and 00s, the group’s sound mixes nostalgia with pride for the Scottish team. The idea came to band member Andrew when he heard fans chanting “here we f*cking go” at a Primal Scream concert.” He felt that same energy should support Scotland’s football team. Andrew teamed up with Guy Fforde, a YouTube star known for his electronic music breakdowns. They came together and they created a track that was inspired by Fat Boy Slim which had catchy vocals.

The track “We Are The Tartan Army” captures the energy and unity of Scottish fans. Tartan Army ’24 has also released a German Acid mix, which enhances the dance elements. To add on to this more excitement is infused in the audience as a special remix, was endorsed by sports broadcaster Shebahn Aherne. The Shebahn Aherne mix was created during a late-night session inspired by her TalkSport show. With its lively beats and powerful vocals, this anthem is set to become a favorite in the football world, bringing fans together to support their team.
