for KING & COUNTRY is a duo with a strong story. A story of struggle and chosen persistence that the brothers (Joel and Luke Smallbone) went through and overcame to shine bright as one of the most celebrated pop duos in the United States. Their music revolves around themes of anecdotes and basic human life experiences. This makes it relatable and touching for a variety of age groups and demographics. They have attained a huge amount of recognition in the industry. These brothers are four time Grammy® Award, seven times GMA Dove Award, One Billboard Music Award, and 13 K-LOVE Fan Award Winners. They have touched the ears of millions if not billions of ears through their career and their goal to make music that resonates and helps people heal is what keeps them on top of the charts and near to the hearts of the listeners.

They are also well known for their philanthropic work around curbing Human Trafficking, helping children in need and promoting art. They draw inspiration from genres like modern pop, folk and electronic music to make vibes that transcend boundaries and touch the hearts of many. The emotional cues in their songs is their USP. Their ability to tickle the deepest of our hearts is commendable. They try to keep bringing something new for the listeners with new vocal delivery styles, music patterns, instrumentals and rhythms.

“for KING & COUNTRY is the magical duo from the US. They yet again play the strings of the heart with their track Unsung Hero.”

The track Unsung Hero, after which the Album is named is my favorite piece from the project. It talks about the struggles of their parents David and Helen who had nothing left after David’s successful music company went through a down fall. It a very inspiring story of the couple who raised these two legends who grew up to make a lot of noise in the music industry.

The Album picks it up with the track called You’re The Voice. This one is an upbeat pop banger. The music screams joy, hope and inspiration. The lyrics are crafted in such a way that it feels like the artist is directly talking to the listeners. The electronic synth sounds are punchy drums set the mood for the track. The song is loud and bold as the name suggests.

Another crazy track from the project is To Hell With The Devil(RISE). It picks up the pace with an absolutely incredible rap section in the beginning. It is not an exclusively hip-hop track but a melodious one with some fire bars. On the likes of artists like Imagine Dragons, Joyner Lucas and NF, the song is heavily inspirational and full of passion. The lyrics will make you wanna think about yourself and introspect.
