The Transits are the triple threat in the alt-rock space. It is rare in this world that you get a chance to relive your unfulfilled teenage dreams. However, The Transits got the chance to do so. They formed a band 30 years ago to create punk-rock music together but later grew apart to materialize their individual music journeys. Destiney is real and intent is what guides it. This statement holds very true for our most talented artists from the trio. Now, they have come back together to bring the old days back. Everything is same except the experience and expertise they have now. Each artist has grown individually and has matured their sound to a great extent. This results in more sophisticated and precise songs that successfully convey the messages that each song intends to convey. From 2023, they have dropped 4 singles, an EP and an Album titled after the band’s name- The Transits. Today, we shall look into the album and dissect what the band has presented us with.

The album is an alt-rock piece which has fusion rock jams that are commercialized to the right extent. The hooks are memorable in tacks like- When you went away and Renegade hearts while, they have brought very fresh sounds in tracks like- Fall into dark and In Stereo- REMIX. The album is a full package for anyone looking for a versatile album that could surprise you with various music styles. Now, let me tell you about my couple favorite tracks from the album-

When you went away, the second track of the album is a fun jam that is packed with energy and emotions. It is a Lover’s Rock track that talks about how it feels when a loved one leaves you to suffer. It is a very hopeless state to be in and the song encapsulates it perfectly.

Another track from the album that I very much liked is Lost Ones. The exceptional music production that features smooth vocal chops and spacy bell sounds is combined with the old school rock sound to create a unique and unmatched vibe. The song is a comfort song for anyone feeling lost in their path of life. It lets them know that they are not the only ones.
