Gethyn Jones is a singer, song-writer and producer who also writes emotion-filled and thought envoking novels. He makes music in Quay West Studios in Hampshire (the studio in a church). The artist’s most recent work is called the Fatal Equation. The book has a plot where two characters fall in love only to realize the hurdles society and friends bring. Ali Kurmi is a DJ and singer/song-writer who falls in love with the gorgeous and graceful Laura O’Brien who is older to Ali. This love story starts with the best intentions from both the partners. Life is not a fairly tale after all, their love is faced with many problems when their close relatives and friends start hindering their pursuit of togetherness.

The novel has also been presented to us in form of a music album that features songs from the protagnist’s perspective. If their love is materialized or not is for you to find through the novel. However, you can enjoy the album widely available to stream and download.

The album from the novel Fatal Equation features songs which are written and sung from the perspective of the protagnist. The singles go along with the eventualitites of the novel. It was created by Gethyn with co-producer Nick Bowen. Gethyn says that although Nick comes from a different generation, when they are together in the studio, the communication is more than just verbal as they understand each other deeply. The result is right in front of you.

Now, we are going to talk about my personal favourite track from the album which is ‘I Keep Walkin” feat. Liam Wakefield. The song talks about being on the road and having no permanant settlement in life. Such a journey is lonely and makes one self-actualize and realize a lot of things about themselves. Even tough it is a lonely road, the life of walking alone is enjoyable for a person who believes in solitude and enjoys his/her own company. The textured voice of the singer gives an amazing vibe to the whole song. The song takes inspiration from country music, classical and rock. It presents us with a sound that evokes various emotions in the listeners heart. The album is full of songs you are going to enjoy for sure. So, do not miss out on “Fatal Equation”.
