An extremely creative artist with an eye for evolving hip-hop music, Proklaim’s music can be described as real and fresh. He has appeared on MTV Base in his Kingz video. His music is mostly intense and carries a progressive message. What will stick with me about this artist is his cadence and his raw accent. It puts you on a trance and once you start listening to Proklaim, there’s no going back. He motivates his listeners and throws reality on their face to put them on their toes.

The track starts with gentle afro shakers putting you on the groove. Proklaim talks about how determined he is to progress in life. He claims that he is not in the scene to follow trends but to settle his feet in the scene and I agree. His music is so unique and his style is influenced yet sounds super fresh. The bouncy hook with have your head bumping. He raps in a lower segment with a strong crunch in his sound which makes his message even more impactful and powerful. Give the man a listen if you are into artists like Wutang Clan, Tupac, Big Punisher, Lauryn Hill and Nas.
