The Nomadic Weave an Everlasting Vibe with ‘Treading Water’

The Nomadic is a group that started in 2014 and their first album “My Mind is Racing” was released in January 2022. Singer-songwriter, guitarist, and pianist Rob Gaylard is the one behind “The Nomadic”, known for intricate 90s Britpop, alt/ country, folk, and contemporary Americana rock. Rob hailed from Australia and grew up as a nomad in Australia, Burma, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, and the UK. He has lived and worked with the United Nations, national governments, and NGOs in Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, and Israel/ Palestine. He is currently based in New York.

“The Nomadic captures a vivid emotion and bottles it up in a track. Each melody in that track is laced with that emotion to the core.”

The Nomadic recently released its first single “Treading Water” from the upcoming album named “New Horizons”. which is an Americana alt-rock tune that will have you swaying throughout. If you love to listen to intricate melodies theatre deep and touch your soul, you’ll love their work. The track talks about the feeling of being trapped and the music beautifully does justice to the theme. The way the vocals are processed creates the perfect vibrations for the sensations of being trapped to be induced in one’s mind. If you close your eyes and listen to this masterpiece, I can guarantee that you’ll have the experience of a lifetime. Do give this track a go, you’ll love it. 🙂
