Engegard Quartet are an Oslo (Norway) based band of four musicians. The band members are, Arvid Engegard, Alex Robson, Juliet Jopling and Jan Clemens Carlsen. They are best known for their core classical musical landscapes. Their music production genres are, Folk Classical, Classic sound, Trad Folk, Contemporary, Cinematic, Soundtrack, and Relaxing music. The group have been releasing a 5-part video series across 2024. These videos were filmed amongst the natural and beautiful outdoors at Lofoten. The band won the “Choc de Classica” twice. The Strad described their first CD as “Breathtaking”. Pizzicato magazine gave them the “Supersonic Award” for their second CD. The band has been featured by Gramophone, BBC Music Magazine, and BBC Radio 3.

Joik Suite was released on 12th Jan. It is a melodious track with a serene flow. I feel so relaxed as I close my eyes and listen to it. The music creates a cool atmosphere that feels like lovely spring weather. It truly captures nature’s grandeur and beauty in it’s notes. The artists have masterfully showcased their skill. Using their instruments. Skilfuly creating a mesmerising soundscape with the Violin and the Cello. I’m enamoured by the graceful emotions that this song evokes within me. If you’re into classical folk music then this song is definitely for you.
