November 2nd’s Triumphant Return with Genre-Bending Harmonies

“November,” a Czech rock band dormant for 12 years, resurfaces with their eponymous album. Fronted by Alexandra Langošová’s compelling vocals and guided by Boris Carloff, their music fuses rock, electronica, and soul. The ensemble includes Roman Helcl on guitar, Jakub Vejnar on bass, and Petr Ptáček on drums. In a different vein, “November” emerged from the meeting of Bernard Trontin, a soundtrack composer, and Simon Huw Jones, ‘And Also the Trees’ singer/lyricist, birthing an album of atmospheric soundscapes and dreamy narratives in 2006.
