The music, resonating through deep bass, takes the listener on a journey guided by an unnamed protagonist, exploring the diverse creatures and landscapes of the Mollusca phylum. Sanford skillfully navigates the mystical and challenging adventures, immersing the audience in the profound depths of the sea.

In the opening track, “The Pelagic Plunge,” the audience is submerged in an aquatic soundscape, where the interplay of plunging water and splashing sets the stage for contemplative yet glinting riffing textures. The slow, clean, and steely edges of the synth craft an ethereal atmosphere, captivating the listener. Towards the end, a robotic voiceover emerges, leaving an intriguing imprint.

The fifteenth track, “Despite Gumboot’s Armor,” is closing the journey, featuring A Beached Whale. Coming full circle, the song initiates with waves receding and seagulls chirping, evolving into a relaxing soundscape enriched with immersive synths, beats, and glitzy pulses.
