Astralix is the name of the exciting new musical enterprise that Gary Dranow of Utah, his composition partner Chris Zoupa of Melbourne, and producer Louis Dupont of Melbourne have started. The idea for Astralix came from a conversation that Gary had with Chris Zoupa around five years ago when he needed help transcribing his Destiny Road album.

“Lost and Found” is in essence a moving story about love – the ups and downs, but ultimately the victory of love over everything.”
The break from Gary’s rock origins and Chris’ progressive guitar-driven background is continued in this electronic pop hit, perfect to dance on. The story of love lost and found is told by Astralix in an electronic setting that is more reminiscent of indie pop; the vocal melodies and throbbing synthesizers are anything from ordinary. A moving tune that follows Malena’s remarkable vocals—wherever they may take us—”Lost and Found” takes its time and paces the song as a whole story that develops as the song progresses. The delivery of the vocals and the content of the lyrics give off an emotional vibe.
It is easy to see the way the song’s flavor would mesh well with the palette of some of the most alluring house musicians of the age, what with its Flume-type melodies and The Chainsmokers-type upbeat and snappy vocals. Catch the muse down here:
