“We Are To Blame”- the band was born when Johan Karlsson (Guitarist/Vocalist of the band) circulated an ad while looking for a pop vocalist to work on a metal project. Alice Hartvig (Current band Vocalist) came across the ad and decided to give it a shot. Also joined, by Urban Granbacke who plays guitars for the band. Together, they make songs that borrow the vocal styles from pop and are musically based in the metal genre.

The EP starts off with the energy-filled track “I Want This To End”. The song talks about realizing a toxic relationship that the artist shares with a particular someone and expresses her wish to end it forever and for good. The quiet yet intense start of this track sets you up for an incredible drop where the screeching electric guitars come in along with hard-hitting drums.

My personal favourite from the album still remains “Into The Fire”. The lyrics of the track revolve around frustration caused as one thinks that they are out of time and goes through a personal crisis. Alice Hartvig’s smooth vocals have heavy growls to contrast with and the song creates an intense and eye-opening atmosphere for the listeners. The rhythmic guitars that bridge the different sections of the track add a distinct texture to the track.
