The Feels are back with a delightful new song, “I’m Not That Guy,” and I’ll tell you what: it’s a nostalgic trip that’s filled with nothing but good vibes. The song’s upbeat vibe immediately attracted me, and I found myself bobbing my head unconsciously. The vocals are fantastic. They’re well pitched, and their dual-layered ambient quality is lovely. The vocal performance, which adds to the joy of the occasion, is lost on you. You can’t help but hum along to the chorus’s infectious repetition of “I’m not that guy.” After listening to this song, I felt completely uplifted and no longer downtrodden. The Feels have nailed the art of making a feel-good tune!
