“Fool feels like the smile of a person after they have cried: bittersweet and tainted with the regret of loss”
The single, “Fool” was written more than 15 years ago but when it was decided to be added to Robert’s 2024 album, he reworked it. The song is filled with desperation, voicing the feelings of a person who hits rock bottom before the turning point in his life. Robert has incorporated an Arian (Grande) undercurrent to this song too. The lyrics echo the regrets of a person who has worked away all the good things in life. His vocals clubbed with the piano imparting the song its serenity.
