Becoming music partners by coincidence during an audition for another band, Rahel Rosenwald and JayC Be began their journey together not too long ago. Following their two previous ballad-like tracks, “White Flowers” and “From the Outside,” released in March and May 2023, they are back with another track that is supposed to be part of their upcoming EP.

This release, titled “Gatecrasher,” is a different soundtrack compared to their previous records. It is not a ballad but rather a more rhythmic track with the same folk background. The combination of folk and indie creates a soothing and serene atmosphere, with the addition of bluesy elements in the melodies, giving it an ethereal quality.
The lyrical part of “Gatecrasher” is about the age-old controversy of whether the obstacles in life stem from our choices or a mysterious force, compelling your mind to think the unthinkable. In conclusion, the record is a must-listen, especially for indie and folk music fans.
