It was only a couple of weeks ago that I reviewed ‘Now it comes’, (Nun Kommt es Werder) and now Ari Joshua is back again with another track titled “Help on the Way”. It is a rendition of the iconic Garcia/Hunter classic, “Help on the Way.” Ari Joshua has crafted a celestial journey into the heart of psychedelic nostalgia. Collaborating with an exceptional lineup, consisting of John Kimock on drums, Andy Hess on bass, and Eden Ladin on keys, Joshua paints a vivid musical landscape.

“In a world where musicality and purpose converge, Ari Joshua’s rendition becomes a beacon of light, offering solace and a way forward.”
The song very subtly draws you in into it’s enchanting atmosphere filled with ambient sounds, creating a sense of palpable tension which is broken when the beats kick in by the music, which is a fusion of jazz and funk. Although the major portion of the song is just instrumentals, you are hooked because the entire team has done an incredible job on the intricately layered production.

“Help on the Way” encapsulates Joshua’s mission — not just in music, but in life. The proceeds from this endeavour are dedicated to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, embodying the song’s essence of extending help and hope, as the title suggests. In a world where musicality and purpose converge, Ari Joshua’s rendition becomes a beacon of light, offering solace and a way forward. So give this song a spin right away.
