Cole wrote this in the bleak peak of winter during a time she was so saddened by the struggles and hardships of the world. She wanted to create something that would make her feel happy inside, so she sought after upbeat tempos but found herself enchanted by retro synths. She dabbles into synth pop, stepping out of her comfort zone and broadens her production skills. The song opens with synths with gradually increasing tempo drawing you in and Cole’s ethereal vocals smoothly soar over the intricately layered production, offering a euphoric listening experience.
