Jeán Et Joie hails from LA and Arkansas, birthed when the artist and songwriter Grey Jeán and their fiancé Gabrielle Néla started playing and recording together, and teamed up with the drummer and guitar duo Ikaika and Dash from the LA band Flamango Bay. Preceding their upcoming EP ‘Bramble’, their recent single ‘Glory Be’ is an exquisite soul-folk track with a flickering light of hope planted within it. Grey started singing and writing their own music while facing life’s struggles during their teenage years.

“Jeán Et Joie’s music sounds like a clear-water lake, mirroring the transcendence and celestiality of love, life, and nature.”
Listening to “Glory Be” makes you feel like you’re living in a peaceful dream. Lying down beside the waves of the ocean, barefoot on the sand, staring out into the dark, pointing aimlessly at the twinkling stars in the night sky, captured by the hum of the tide.
The track starts with an ethereal strum of guitar, and when that first note of Grey’s voice reaches your ears, from head to toe, your body freezes with rushing goosebumps. The angelic composition put together by Jeán Et Joie is truly a soft, folklore heaven.
