Found by Krish Warren, PolSky started off small but has now become a complete dynamic pop band consisting of Ben Warn on the keyboards, Drummer Alex Robertson and the bass guitar player Chris Norman. Kris began his career working for Cocteau Twins’ Robin Guthrie, in their September Sound studio where he diligently observed and learned from many artists. While Warren was playing for several bands between 2000-2009, he had already started envisioning PolSky and Executive functions.

“”Executive Functions” is packed with story-driven lyrics and an robust intrumemtation, every song is a journey in itself, cleverly exploring a wide range of themes whilst offering a captivating listening experience.”
Executive Functions transcends beyond genres and offers the last sixty years of pop culture wrapped into one album. It starts off with a short intro titled “Welcome to Pol-Sky Corp.” which is like an introductory announcement of any corporate’s help-line number, just to commence the journey into the “Pol-Sky Corp.” . The second track “Switchboard Operator” is where you get a taste of PolSky’s music, it’s a riveting anthem with catchy vocals which will have you shaking your head before you know it.
A track that stood out for me personally was “In Love at the Cinema” which enchants the listener and has hypnotic melody which offers a smooth listening experience. “Executive Functions” is packed with story-driven lyrics and an robust intrumemtation, every song is a journey in itself, cleverly exploring a wide range of themes whilst offering a captivating listening experience. A must-listen for everyone, so give it a spin today.
