The Pulltops are a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist duo from Milwaukee, America consisting of drummer Mark Pierret and guitarist Tom Crowell. I discovered them back when I reviewed their single “Stronger”. They dabble into genres like dark alt-rock, indie-rock, power-pop, and album-rock. ‘Better Life’ is a fresh single out of the twenty singles they plan on releasing in the span of the next two years.

“It’s a beautiful song with zeal and enthusiasm, it has an explosive chorus that will transport you in a trance-like state.”
‘Better Life’ is a song that will give you an 80s nostalgia or transport you to a Stranger Things-esque world. It’s a beautiful song with zeal and enthusiasm, it has an explosive chorus that will transport you in a trance-like state. The lead’s vocals put up a stellar performance and truly take the cake when it comes to being the best aspect of this song. Lyrics speak of who is there with us through difficult times and what we are without our monetary backing, but the song also uplifts and energises the listeners. The music is goose-bump inducing, the powerful thumping drums, the titillating guitar, and the exquisite influence of rock create an enchanting atmosphere for the listeners.
The Pulltops have only grown through the past couple of their tracks. ‘Better Life’ is a testament to illustrate their fruitful growth over time. True fans of the rock genre will appreciate this meticulously crafted piece of art and appreciate its nuances.
