Ellery Twining has found a new structure for the traditional pop and rock, exploring into the realm of Post Pop and creating soft, surreal landscaped melodies. With subordinating instrumental fragments, his new album ‘Results’ seems to be more about the lyrics and the emotions poured into them by the artist. Drawing from his personal experiences and the unspoken common obstacles faced by the past generation, Twining has woven a fabric that is very fragile and yet so enduring, it leaves your heart in pieces.

“Ellery Twining’s musical proficiency asserts dominance over people’s minds and delivers all of his emotions to the listeners’ hearts.”
The lyrical prowess of Ellery used in this album are poignant, emotive and symbolic, and makes you dive into a well of thoughts and drown. The opening track of the album ‘Sixth Of January’ portrays the blueprint of societal chaos and the parallelism between that and his own personal recollection and reflection. The artist has described that this project circles around the underlying concepts and themes of popular culture, childhood survival tactics and the consequences of socially acceptable divorce. Infact, the artist had previously decided to name the album ‘The Divorce Kid’ for all its significance in the matter. The scattered, fragmentary percussions and soft paced strings provide the album with a sombre tone and a heartfelt, realistic atmosphere.
Listening to these tracks awakens a feeling of woe in your heart.
