Annie Keating is a mainstay of the contemporary Americana scene . Her lyricism reflects that her music comes from an honest and sincere place showcasing that she knows deep down that heartache is the price of hope, and like many best artists she makes us truly believe that all of it is worth the cost. Her album “Belmont” put her on the map in 2008. Keating has been progressively growing as an artist, amassing fans with every subsequent release.

“Annie Keating’s dreamy vocals and poetic lyrics backed by impeccable guitar instrumentation keep you hooked through the album”
After a successful collaboration in 2021 on “Bristol County Tides” Annie Keating again joins forces with guitarist and producer Teddy Kumpel to deliver a heartfelt, profound and introspective listening experience in her latest album “Hard Frost”.
The album opens with “Lies and Dynamite” which perfectly sets the the tone for what can be expected ahead in the album. Followed by “Looking for Trouble” captures the sweetness of meeting someone and clicking instantly when you least accept it. “Keepsakes and Heartbreak” feature story-driven lyrics that take you on a trip down the memory lane with vivid imagery and smooth flow. But the track that really stood out for me was “Lovesick Blues” slightly different than the rest but still true to it’s roots. The closing track “So Lonely” with an exceptional guitar work brings this mesmerising album to an end, leaving you craving for more.
Annie Keating’s dreamy vocals and heartfelt lyrics backed by impeccable guitar instrumentation keep you hooked through the album, give this rising star a spin right away.
