Lump200 is a Berlin based electro-clash band. The tracks they weave and the beats they drop are bizarre yet full of meaning. Lump200 ‘s album takes you on a whirlwind journey with no fixed destination. The band deals with contradictions. They represent oxymorons in their purest form. They’re maximalist and minimalist simultaneously, stressed and relaxed at the same time. A true anomaly indeed.
“Lump200’s ‘Isles of You’ is a groundbreaking electro-acoustic album that showcases the band’s exceptional talent for merging electronic and acoustic elements.”
The album’s first track, “Maximouse,” begins with a surge of adrenaline and eerie echoes. The fusion of electronic beats and vibrant acoustic tunes creates a concoction that slowly takes control of you!
The track progresses with ‘Master Realist’ which gradually unfolds with ethereal flair and haunting hymnic tunes. Taking a contradictory route that ends up at euphonic juncture. Lump200’s meticulous layering of complex melodies and powerful beats makes you groove incessantly without a care in the world
The track which I personally loved was ‘Calm Down’. The tunes in this track develop gradually, letting the musical layers reveal themselves. It takes you on an introspective journey of self- reflection. By the time it ends, you’ll definitely feel at ease with yourself.
Lump200’s ‘Isles of You’ is a groundbreaking electro-acoustic album that showcases the band’s exceptional talent for merging electronic and acoustic elements. Their musical brilliance transcends boundaries and evokes a range of emotions, leaving you in awe of their musical prowess.
