The Ruby Tears’ ‘Never Gonna Be’ is like fur in winter.

The Ruby Tears was born in midst of the lockdown, by the idleness of having no work to do. When the guitarist Jeff Skellon from Liverpool found himself with so much time in his hands, he started weaving the web for a new album and with the gifted artist John Goodfellow, he released a black and white album with a whole range of shades of grey. The artists take their inspiration from the late 60s, 70s glam and rock, New Wave and 80s Post Punk, and mix them together in perfect concentration, into an addictive chemical.

“The track is a reflection of the sweat and blood put into it, a gemstone made of the atoms and molecules of different rock styles layered together.”

‘Never Gonna Be’ is a two-song project with slightly differing sound patterns, yet the same energetic and satisfying background. The artists have made sure to play with the listener’s heart with their exemplary vocals, stitched together with a chirpy thread of strings and percussive rhythm that will make you dance without any thoughts. ‘Piccadilly Sunrise’ sounds like a field of sunflowers and chamomiles shining in the rays of sun, and makes your mind blossom, like an actual sunrise in Piccadilly of course.

The artists’ have already hit their previously set milestone of performing their music live. Alt-rock lovers are surely gonna find themselves in a state of awe as soon as The Ruby Tears begin their masterpieces on-stage.
