Born in Rome Luca Cicinelli started playing the guitar from the the age of 11, at the age of 16 he began writing his own songs. Drawing inspiration from Britpop and indie rock, Luca decided to undertake a solo project in 2015 with the stage name ‘TheVerso’ after which he began the recording of his first album in Italian entitled “Andate e Returns”. His stage name is inspired by the contrast and plurality of meanings of the word verse: the verse of an animal, very instinctual, is in fact practically the opposite of the verse of a poem, intellectual.
