Norwegian based singer-songwriter Stian Fjelldal a.k.a Birds Are Better, brings a unique perspective to folk music with a combination of traditional folk, power-pop, synth-rock and indie-pop. His latest single “Seven In The Morning” is an ambient folk pop ballade about letting go of someone you’ve lost.

The lyrics “This is ludicrous to some cause you are gone, but I do not believe that we’re done” are painstakingly beautiful, and portrays how we often continue to do things as if the person is still with us, because we can’t accept that the person has gone, Towards the end the song gives a perfect closure as Stifan asks for forgiveness for letting go and reassurance that they shall reunite once again someday.
