‘And now it’s time for a breakdown’ is the sequel to the two-part EP series called ‘The Outward Spiral’. The album opens with “Mo(u)rning” which draws you in with it’s soft piano and then Ann Marie Nacchio’s haunting vocals lure you in, completely immersing you in the euphoric listening experience that Ann has created with the use of her simple & poetic lyrics and subtle music.

“”And now it’s time for a breakdown” is an enchanting and deep album by Ann Marie Nacchio which explores the plethora of emotions and feelings that one experiences through heartbreak “
This intense track is followed by “Tell me something” which has an upbeat vibe but deals with an emotional theme that makes you question everything, seeking answers for the events of the past, towards the end the song gives us a soothing closure after vocals fade out and the mesmerising acoustics take over, to swiftly carry you out of the blissful experience that “Tell me Something” is.Another Standout track from the album is “Wrong” which starts with somber tones and creates palpable tension with the violin and the synths, the lyrics too contribute to setting the mood which is eerie, dark and pensive. The closing track, “How”which is perhaps my favourite too begs the questing How does one fall out of love.
