Chuck Rock by Juniper Avenue: Chilling, Captivating and Crafty.

Juniper Avenue’s Chuck Rock is a treat for the ears, packed with 12 tracks, each with it’s own distinct signature and narrative. With hints of rock and roll in it’s psych-punk’ish style they have produced a magnificent work of art that is sure to have you head banging in no time.

Chuck Rock’s opening track “Everything must go” is a warning for you that everything must go from your head to make space for this beautiful album that Juniper Avenue has created by intricately fusing the genres. The title track “Chuck rock” will get any crowd moving. The driving rhythms and catchy melody make it a standout track on the album.

“With hints of rock and roll in it’s psych-punk’ish style Juniper Avenue has produced a magnificent work of art that is sure to have you head banging in no time.”

“Self and Pity doubt” has to be my favourite from the album, the guitar work and the vocals on this song are highly commendable.”Victim” is another standout track that will draw you in right from the moment you press play with it’s haunting vocals, but once the guitar riffs kick in, it flips 180 degrees with it’s driving beats and music that pierces right though your heart and gives you the chills. Preceding the closing track is “Karen” which will have you head banging throughout. The album closes with literally a “Bang!” which starts with a slightly slower tempo than the rest of the album but picks up pace by the end of it. I highly recommend you play this album right now.
