Romain Gutsy is renowned for his endearing and humorous lyrics, which he develops with each new album. His voice is without a doubt another aspect of his music that stands out. His vocals are warm, raspy, and genuine, and they captivate listeners right away. Romain wrote and produced “Lany,” which also featured Chandra Bentel on backing vocals. Marc Bentel handled the song’s production, mixing, and mastering.

The lovely ballad “Lany” is dedicated to the realisation that we are in love and that there is absolutely no way out. The experience is compared in the lyrics as being under a spell that we enjoy being under. The song’s melodies and harmonies convey a sense of longing for a first love.
Using folk jazz, the artist toys with our memories, prompting us to recall a meeting with our own Lany that took place many years ago but is still vivid in our memories. In “Lany,” a humorous love song, the narrator recognises he is in love but also realises he is screwed, as if to say to himself, “I’m done.” A video that retro-futuristically depicts the feelings of first love was also produced along with a song.
