9 o’clock Nasty | Disco Investors

One of the most difficult tasks for music bands is to establish a specific genre or style just via the use of sound elements, without the aid of a music video, special effects, or extra instruments. Rockers 9 o’clock Nasty from Leicester convey some glam rock/shock rock vibes in their newest track just by sounding and paying homage to the role. The new “Disco Investors” is just as vivacious and positive as its name implies.

“9 o’clock Nasty pays off a brilliant homage to glam rock with infectious sound elements.”

A guitar riff with a bright tone and a nostalgic vibe opens the tune. The song is led into an 80s–90s glam rock style by an exciting, funky bassline and an infectious drumline. The way the vocals are shouted during the verses evokes some of the band’s earlier work and conveys a feeling of revolt (in punk rock and heavier genres). The chorus, on the other hand, includes backup vocal harmonies that evoke a big arena show from the heyday of Rock N Roll. This song is brilliant not just because each instrument works well with the others and the lyrics are funny and witty, but also because each of these aspects is used to the fullest extent possible.
So Check out Disco Investors by 9 o’clock Nasty and let the rhythm take over!
