Rebecka Molander is a Swedish singer-songwriter and musician since 2001, captivating audiences with her unique voice, self-perceived lyrics, and jazz-inspired sound.The self-taught pianist opened shows for famous artists like Lill-Babs and Jan Lundgren before performing her first concert under her own name.After the release of her full-length debut album “Through The Rain” in 2015, a Scandinavian record tour in 2016 and a pleasant reception at MOJO in Copenhagen, opportunities and paths opened up for her. Since then, Molander has worked as a freelance musician and a keyboardist with Edsvurna.

I recently heard this song,’ Through The Rain’. Having an organic sound influenced by jazz and folk music. it has a very easy-listening feel. It combines Molanders’ minimalistic piano style with deep, round tones of bass and sparse percussion instruments for a very understated but effective mix. In addition to being bright and emotional, Rebecka’s vocals are deeply engaging, displaying her versatility as a performer. This arrangement spins a calming yet sparkly sound inspired by Pop, Funk, and Fusion. In this soft jazz ballad with hypnotic undertones, piano chords interact beautifully with vocals.
